What are your expectations for LASIK?<\/span><\/h2>
<\/span><\/div><\/div>[vc_column_text]Most people who undergo LASIK surgery will have good or excellent vision in most situations for many years or decades after surgery.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

You will be able to freely practice sports, including water sports, live without the need for constant vision correction and without worrying about glasses or contact lenses. However, remember that as you age or in low light conditions, you may need to wear prescription glasses.<\/p>\n

The vast majority of people report high satisfaction after vision correction using refractive surgery methods, including FEMTO LASIK, LASIK, PRK, etc. However, it should be remembered that long-term results of refractive surgery treatment are often not available or have not been well researched and documented. One reason is that people are generally satisfied after surgery, so they do not feel the need to repeat tests, and follow-up data is not collected in every and each case. At the same time, the LASIK procedure has been refined over time – the techniques and technology are constantly changing. This makes it difficult to draw conclusions from the transmitted data.<\/p>\n

Please note that on a post-operative check-up, vision is measured under optimal testing conditions. Vision in low light (e.g. at dusk or fog time) may not be as good as in published reports and as experienced by other patients who have been treated with refractive surgery (FEMTO LASIK, LASIK, PRK). Over time, your refraction may slowly worsen as you age, and your vision may not be as good as it was immediately after the surgery.<\/strong><\/em> This doesn’t seem like a big problem, but the exact degree of change is sometimes impossible to predict.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
