Dry eye syndrome

Dry eye syndrome – disorder caused by a deficiency of the tear film layer of water layer or excessive tear evaporation which causes the ocular surface disorders and related symptoms of: discomfort, dryness, burning eyes, discharge, blurred vision and redness. The causative agent of this group of diseases is an inflammatory reaction. There are several treatment methods depending on the cause of the dry eye.
